Well, it won’t take 11 games for Vincent Jackson to make an impression in the 2011 season. After missing training camp and most of the 2010 season in a salary dispute with San Diego, Jackson signed a franchise tag with the Chargers on Friday.
The deal is worth nearly $11 million.
Jackson was one of the 10 players in the Brady V. NFL antitrust suit and spent 10 games of the 2010 season in a salary dispute with the Chargers.
He went to the 2009 Pro Bowl.
Now, he will begin practice Aug. 4, the starting date for certain players in his contract class.
