Charlotte hosts two players, looks toward draft

The Charlotte Bobcats recently unveiled no uniforms, now they are scouting new talent to outfit. The team has hosted multiple players during the last few weeks. Connecticut’s Andre Drummond and Kansas’ Thomas Robinson worked out for Charlotte Friday.

The NA Draft is June 28 and Charlotte has the first overall pick.

Drummond at 6-foot-10 and Robinson at 6-foot-9 would both be respectable options for the Bobcats as Big Men. Drummond averaged around 10, eight and three while Robinson was closer to 18 and 12.

The team also worked out Bradley Beal, the standout Florida guard and two small forwards, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist of Kentucky and Harrison Barnes of North Carolina.

Drummond and Robinson weren’t alone, according to The Associated Press. Old Dominion’s Kent Bazemore and Chris Cooper were also working out, as was Ramone Moore of Temple and Josh Owens of Stanford.
