While the most popular Syracuse Orange athletes were on the hardwood in New York City, Fourteen Orange football players worked out for 31 NFL teams’ scouts at Syracuse’s Manley Field House on Thursday.
Despite the Orange ending the season on a five-game slide – including no bowl appearance – it seems like the team still groomed some NFL talent.
On of those players was punter Rob Long. Roughly a year ago, Long was a recently cancer survivor.
Defensive end Chandler Jones was also in attendance.
