Oregon State Beavers send Washington Huskies home, 86-84

So, excuse me for a second while I go incredibly Mr. Homer Hometown Fanski on you all. Again.

But it’s a great day to be an Oregon State Beaver. Today, the Beavers upset the top-seeded Washington Huskies in the Pac-12 tournament.

Final score: 86-84.

The only bummer is the Beavers blew a 15-point lead in the second half and had to hang on for the two point victory.

For the record, Jared Cunningham hit a go-ahead layup with 31.8 seconds left. My dude finished scored 18 points, hit two free throws with 6.2 seconds to play and was a BOSS in this game. Devon Collier added his own 19 points. He also tallied seven rebounds for the Beavers.

The Beavers are now 19-13 with quality wins over Texas, California, Colorado and Oregon. All at least 19-win teams.

Makes you wonder where the Beavers will end up coming tournament time…
