It’s not as bad as it could have been for Lamar Odom. Not so much for his level of pay, or personal well-being – more for his ego. Odom will rejoin the Dallas Mavericks without playing a single game in the NBA Development League.
He was originally scheduled to play a game for the Texas Legends Saturday night. Instead, the Mavericks said Saturday, Odom will be in uniform for their game that night against the Utah Jazz.
Odom’s last NBA game was two weeks ago. Since then, he was taking personal time to deal with family matters.
Keep in mind, the defending NBA champion Mavericks have lost four in a row.
