On a scale from one to terrible, this story is off the charts. If your name is Tiquan Underwood right now, you are about the most unhappy man in the United States.
The New England Patriots cut Underwood Saturday, less than 24 hours before kickoff for the Super Bowl. Underwood had only played in five games and tallied three catches on the season.
The move most likely means that Chad Ochocinco will be active against the Giants on Sunday. Ochocinco only caught 15 balls this season. The Patriots will keep Wes Welker, Deion Branch, Julian Edelman and Matthew Slater in teh lineup for certain and now will decide on Ochocinco.
Ochocinco has never played in the Super Bowl.
