It’s not too often that Division II gets a good run in the media, but today is that day. The NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships qualifiers were announced Wednesday.
Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching the automatic and provisional standards established for each event.
This season the field will include Jerel Flournoy of Indianapolis in the 200 meter and Cassie Mitchell of Adams State in the One-Mile run.
The championships will be held March 9-10 in Mankato, Minn., at Myers Field o the campus of Minnesota State University.
