Guaranteed Finalist
Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, Derek Rose, Dywane Wade, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Love, and Dwight Howard. Look for these players to make the final cut unless they get injured at the end of the season or personally decide not to play.
My Obvious Cuts
Eric Gordon is young and inexperience.
Chauncey Billups is a good role player but he is old and there is just to many guards on this team already.
Andre Iguodala is having a great season but with forwards like Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Kevin Durant ahead of you its will be hard for you to make the team.
Chris Bosh and Lamar Odom are not consistent enough on either side of the court to make the 2012 team.
The 12-man roster and alternates for the Olympics will be chosen from the new player pool in June. Summer 2012 is when USA Basketball training camp will start for the London Games. It will take place in Las Vegas on July 27-Aug 12.
