Terrell Owens to play Arena Football

Terrell Owens can once again sing his song, “I’m Back” and claim he is better than ever. He is returning to football, just not the NFL. Owens will return to football playing in the Indoor Football League.

And he is even returning to Texas to do it.

The six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver will take his sit-ups, bicep curls and other antics to the Allen Wranglers in Allen, Texas. He won’t be playing Green Bay, San Francisco or the Washington Redskins anymore, but he will take on the Wichita Wild, Nebraska Danger and the New Mexico Stars.

Owens has a few weeks to prepare. The Wranglers open their season Feb. 25 at home.

The team offered Owens a spot on the team last month and Thursday announced the signing on their website.

Owens took to Twitter after the deal was announced in a video clip he said: “Allen, Texas, I’ll see you in the end zone.”

Th 38-year-old will have to battle with eight other wide receivers already on the roster.
