Redskins’ LB Fletcher makes Pro Bowl after all

As it turns out the Washington Redskins – Pro Bowl worthy – linebacker London Fletcher will be heading to the Pro Bowl after all.

This is the third-consecutive Pro Bwl berth for the crafty veteran.

He is replacing the injured Chicago Bears’ linebacker Brian Urlacher.

Fletcher led the NFL in tackles. He also tallied 1.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and two interceptions.

From The Associated Press:

Fletcher once referred to himself as “the Susan Lucci of the NFL” because he had yet to be rewarded with a trip to the Pro Bowl. In 2010, Fletcher made it for the first time when Jonathan Vilma of the New Orleans Saints couldn’t play because the game was being held before the Super Bowl.

Last season, Fletcher got in again at the last minute – after Urlacher withdrew because of an injury.

Fletcher will be the only Redskin player represented this season.
