Michigan WR Stonum violates probation

After a wild weekend in Ann Arbor, fans are left shaking their heads in confusion. Confused because apparently Michigan wide receiver Darryl Stonum violated the rules of his probation.

The violation was reported by the Associated Press.

According to the AP, “Stonum’s probation officer, Steve Hill, said that Stonum was stopped by Ann Arbor police” for “driving with a revoked license.”

Recall that Stonum was originally pulled over for driving while impaired last May – spending some time in jail. He was sentenced to two years probation. Before that, in 2008, he was also charged with driving under the influence, that time with a suspended license.

In the three years Stonum has played with the team, he has accumulated 76 catches for 1,008 yards.
