Ohio State booster comes forward, takes blame

A booster told the Columbus Dispatch he’s responsible for envelopes containing $200 in cash given to three Ohio State football players. The envelopes eventually led to suspensions of two players set to miss two games each.

If there is one thing the Columbus Dispatch knows how to do, it’s sink the ship that is Ohio State football.

Robert “Bobby” DiGeronimo admitted to handling the situation poorly and told The Columbus Dispatch that he was behind former Buckeyes quarterback Terrelle Pryor giving the three players the envelopes.

The NCAA suspended the players. Both tailback Jordan Hall and cornerback Travis Howard missed two games and are set to play against Miami on Saturday. Backup safety Corey Brown was also suspended.
