Miami Hurricanes’ Jacory Harris returns

Jacory Harris has paid his price to the collegiate sports society and is ready to tart his life again. As Miami’s starting quarterback.

Recall that on Tuesday – just 24 hours ago – Miami coach Al Golden said that Harris and Morris would “compete” for the job before the Hurricanes chose a starter.

The university released the official depth chart for the Sept. 17 game against No. 15 Ohio State on Wednesday. Harris was placed as the starting quarterback in front of Stephen Morris.

While that doesn’t mean an open competition isn’t occurring, it did raise some eyebrows.

Harris didn’t play in Miami’s season-opening loss at Maryland. He was serving a one-game suspension. He allegedly received extra-benefits from a former booster.
