Big East realignment talks to take place

Days after Syracuse and Pittsburgh decided to abandon the Big East, the remaining teams in the conference are set to meet in New York City to discuss the conference’s future.

The remaining Big East football schools: West Virginia, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Rutgers, Louisville and South Florida will be in attendance. TCU, set to join the Big East next season, will also take part in the meeting.

The news comes way of the USA Today. According to The Associated Press, the meeting will include school presidents and athletic directors.

The Big East is in a bit of a jam. The remaining schools are trying to figure out what’s next after Pittsburgh and Syracuse announced they are leaving for the Atlantic Coast Conference.
