Washington Capitals Development Camp – Day 4 – Morning Report

First period is over. And things are running a bit smoother today. Better offense, better defense, slicker passing.

And bigger hits.

Adam Mitchell left the game with 6:07 to play in the first period after a nasty lick. He was holding his left hand and had it wrapped in a towel. That hit comes on the heels of a hit yesterday that sent Wade Epp to the locker room.

Epp didn’t return to the game yesterday but did get into the game today. Taylor Stefishen, who was seen in a knee brace yesterday, hasn’t been seen today.

Back on the ice, in the first period, Dustin Stevenson (originally given to Travis Boyd) scored for red, Michael Collins scored for white (Mike Boivin for the red team could be given the assist for the set-up “pass”).

As they start the second period, the score it even at 1-1.

Tempers began to boil over in the second period. Garrett Mitchell squared off with Scott Wietecha. Then, shortly there after, a nameless goal for the white.

At the start of the third – it’s 2-1.
