The Nationals made a move to bring Sean Burnett into the game for Ryan Matthues. Matthues left the game after 1 2/3 innings, one hit, on strikeout and one balk (that gave up a run)
Meanwhile, Nationals pitcher John Lannan as diagnosed with a nasal contusion and is day-to-day.
