NFL Lockout still stands after 12 hour meeting between players and owners

After 12 long hours, the NFL owners and players’ association leaders still couldn’t come to an agreement. The NFL lockout remains in effect.

The two sides will meet again in the morning. This is the sixth set of discussions and labor negotiations between the two sides.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith were in attendance as the two sides met at the offices of a Manhattan law firm.

At the end of talks Thursday, Smith said: “We still have a lot of work to do.”
