Eagles to sign RB Graig Cooper

The Philadelphia Eagles will sign undrafted free agent rookie running back Graig Cooper to a contract.

NFLDraftMonsters.com was the first to report the Cooper signing.

The University of Miami product rushed for 165 yards (4.7 yards per carry) and one touchdown in 10 games during his senior season. Cooper was limited throughout his senior season as he battled back from a torn ACL.

Prior to tearing his ACL during the 2009 Champs Sports Bowl, Cooper had been projected as a 2nd round draft pick.

Cooper was named a Sporting News Freshman All-American (honorable mention) and CollegeFooballNews.com Freshman All-American (honorable mention) in 2007 after rushing for 682 yards (5.5 ypc) and 4 TDs in 11 games.

In his four year career the 6’0” 205-pound Cooper rushed for 2,383 yards and 13 TDs.
