With the 28th pick in the 2011 NBA draft the Minnesota Timberwolves have selected Norris Cole from Cleveland State University
The 6’2” 174 pound Cole was the only player in Division 1 to average 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game.
He was the 2010-2011 Horizon League player of the year and defensive player of the year.
Minnesota acquired the 28th pick, as well as the #43 pick, from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for the #23 pick.
