With the 29th pick of the 2011 NBA draft the San Antonio Spurs selected Cory Joseph from teh University of Texas.
Joseph was named to the Big 12 All Rookie team.
The 6’3 186 pound freshman is the third Texas Longhorn selected in the first round along with Tristan Thompson and Jordan Hamilton.
Joseph averaged 10.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in his freshman season.
