NFL and NFLPA* resume labor negotiations

The NFL owners and players have resumed non-mediated discussions in an effort to come to a new collective bargaining agreement and end the current lockout.

The location of the talks is unknown at this time.

Court mandated mediation was set to resume today but was cancelled late last week.

This is the second time in less than a week the two sides have secretly met to discuss the issues at hand during the current lockout.

Albert Breer of the NFL Network was the first to report on the secret meeting.
