Kanter, Knight, work out for Cavs

Hot on the heels of celebrating the underachievement of their former “King” the Cleveland Cavaliers are now looking forward to the NBA Draft.

The Cavs’ – holding the No. 1 and 4 overall picks in this week’s NBA draft – are looking at center Enes Kanter and guard Brandon Knight.

Per the Associated Press:

Kanter’s Monday visit is his second with the Cavs, who have not publicly said whom they will take with the first overall selection Thursday night. Duke point guard Kyrie Irving is their expected
choice, and the Cavs are the only team the 6-foot-4 players worked out for.

Knight, who averaged 17.3 points and 4.2 assists per game for Kentucky last season, could be option for the Cavs if they take Kanter or Arizona forward Derrick Williams instead of Irving at No. 1.

It’s uncertain how players feel about either workouts with the Cavs – they aren’t being made available after workouts.
