Tate Forcier not transferring to Miami

Former University of Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier will not join the Miami Hurricanes football program due of personal reasons.

Miami announced in February that Forcier had signed an aid agreement and planned to transfer, but he has not been on campus since he first visited the program.

Forcier started 12 games as a freshman in 2009. This past season he served as the backup for QB Denard Robinson and was deemed academically ineligible at the end of the season.

There is no word on where Forcier will end up for the 2011-2012 academic year.
