Robert “Tractor” Traylor passes away

Former NBA power forward Robert “Tractor” Traylor has passed away at the age of 34.

He was found in his Puerto Rico apartment on Wednesday afternoon.

The 34-year old Traylor had been playing for Vaqueros de Bayamon in Puerto Rico.  According to police he passed away of an apparent heart attack.

Tractor underwent a surgical procedure on his heart in 2005.

The former University of Michigan standout was the sixth overall pick in the 1998 NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks.  His rights were traded on draft night to the Milwaukee Bucks for Dirk Nowitzki.

In seven NBA seasons Traylor averaged 4.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game as a member of the Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Charlotte Hornets.
