Texas Rangers game evacuated due to tornado threat

The game between the White Sox and the Rangers is being delayed due to a tornado warning.

Play was stopped prior to the bottom of the fourth inning due to heavy thunderstorms.

Doppler Radar indicated two cells capable of producing tornadoes moving at about 30mph into the Arlington area. One tornado was visible between DFW Airport and Love Field in the East Irving area, according to spotters.

Some fans were moved to shelter areas while others were moved into the basement area – next to the locker rooms.
