Good news for some Beaver fans. Hot off the AP Wire: Oregon State athletic director Bob De Carolis has signed a five-year contract extension.
Oregon State announced that the deal, which continues De Carolis’ tenure with the school through June 30, 2016, pays him an annual salary of $490,364.
De Carolis, known as Bobby D around campus, has been the Beavers’ Athletic Director since 2002 and since his hiring the Beavers baseball team has won two College World Series titles, the football team has competed in nine bowl games and the gymnastics team has been to the national championships six straight years.
