NFL spices up second-round draft picks

The NFL is doing it’s best to make sure the NFL Draft is watchable. This year they are doing more than jjust inviting the top picks to “hang out” until they are drafted. The league announced Thursday former players will announce the picks for an entire round for the first time.

Guys like Barry Sanders, Franco Harris, Marshall Faulk and 29 other retired NFL players will announce their former teams’ second-round picks next Friday.

The Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets do not have second-round selections, so their representatives will announce their third-round picks.
