Turns out New York Giants owner John Mara is no different than any other citizen in the United States. He will sit on the jury of an international drug trial in federal court in Manhattan.
He originally asked to be excused to prepare for the NFL draft and because he is a negotiator for team owners in the NFL’s work stoppage.
That request was denied. And now, Mara is Juror No. He was “promoted” after another juror got sick from possible food poisoning, according to The Associated Press.
