Chicago Bulls’ C.J. Watson posted an interesting tweet that has started quite the comeuppance.
That message read: “Congrats to drose on winning the MVP he’s played unbelievable this season!!! now just need tibs to win coach of the yr.”
Watson’s teammate, Derrick Rose, is an MVP favorite. But as of now he insists the NBA has not informed him he is the winner.
Very few people would be surprised if Rose was awarded MVP. He averaged 25 points and just under eight assists per game. He led Chicago to a league-best 62-20 record. On top of that, Tom Thibodeau is also a favorite for coach of the year.
