The New Orleans Saints have signed DT Shaun Rogers to a one-year contract. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Rogers was released by the Cleveland Browns last month and visited several teams before signing with New Orleans.
The last time Rogers played in a 4-3 defense was when he was a member of the Detroit Lions. He played nose tackle in the Browns’ 3-4 defensive scheme.
Rogers has accumulated a total of 482 tackles and 37.5 sacks during his career.
