In-Game Coverage: Morehead State vs. Richmond

Okay, so, I’m not actually there… but I’m watching the game from my recliner on a 42″ Panasonic plasma TV.

It’s almost as good.

Besides, sitting at home I’m “privied” to more stats, different angles and a quieter atmosphere to think and breakdown the game.

Anyway, at the half, the score is 30-21, advantage Richmond.

I’ve noticed that, even though they’re down, Eagles of Morehead State are more apt to attack the basket and look for contact. They’ve made it to the line nine times.

It hasn’t helped thus far, though. The players are only shooting 33-percent (7-for-21) from the floor.

In the second half, I’d look for the Richmond Spiders the crash down inside and force the Eagles to take more outside shots – force the Eagles to beat the Spiders with their shots and not at the charity stripe.

Or at least, that’s what I’d do if I were the coach.

As for the spiders need to just keep on truckin’. They’re playing a great inside-out game right now.
