Bradley hires Geno Ford

Bradley is headed in a new direction. The school hired Geno Ford as its new basketball coach.

They plan to introduce the former Kent State coach Monday.

On of the younger up-and-comers, the 36-year-old, moved Kent State to the forefront of the Mid-American. He leaves Kent State with a 68-37 record. The Flashes won the regular-season title this year finishing 25-12. They eventually lost in the quarterfinals of the NIT.

He was voted MAC coach of the year twice.

Ford replaces Jim Les, who was fired after nine seasons at Bradley. The Braves finished 12-20 this past season.
