The Minnesota Timerbwolves have waived center Eddy Curry.
The Wolves acquired Curry’s $11.2 million expiring contract from the New York Knicks on Tuesday along with Anthony Randolph for forward Corey Brewer.
Curry is en route to his hometown of Chicago to train with trainer Tim Grover. The under-achieving, overweight center if free to sign with any team we wants.
