Happy February!

So, it’s been a while since I’ve made a “State of The [Five]” address. Sorry. But hey, we’re on pace to hit 280 articles this month!

Thing are good around The [Five]. Mike Lederer is churning out breaking news (and beating everyone, including ESPN, to the punch, by the way). Terry Horstman has added some Fantasy flair for everyone. And heck, even Jurrasic Paque has returned.

All hail the Sarcastic King!

As for myself, The NickelBlock (you know, the original reason this site is at this url) is back on the airwaves, too. You can listen live, right here, every Monday at 11:55p.m. EDT and Wednesday at 9:55p.m. EDT. If you miss the show, you can catch the podcasts here on The [Five]. Check out The [Five] Podcaster on the right side of the page for the latest adds.

In other news…

Our friends at atdhe.net are having a bad day. They’re probably in the process of being subpoenaed. At the very least. Check out what happened to their site.

No bueno.

Remind me to never stream anything remotely copy-written over the web. In fact, I’m not even going to think about it.

My favorite part is despite what you see above… They are continuing to do it! Check this out! They have moved their famous “Live Streaming Sports” to a different url.

Props guys. You have cahones.

Not so breaking news

Rich Rodriguez told the AP, “the most frustrating part of being fired after three seasons as Michigan coach was… the worst days were behind the program and the Wolverines were going to be exponentially better next season.”

Well, it’s tough to get any worse. The Wolverines might have been the worst 7-6 team this side of 1980. The losses included Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl – by a combined 105 points.

In talk everyone can understand: They gots blowed out. A lot. They got blown out more times than a Michelin at Daytona.

I love using “< h3 >” a bunch

But, I have nothing left to say, bummer!

  1. February is a great supercross month too. As in Bubba Stewart, Chad Reed, and all.. If you’ve never watched a race you ought to tune in for a good “main” race. One of the last motorsports without traction control or computers taking over. Real 1:1 racing.
