I am. So what. Big Whoop, wanna fight about it?
When it comes to sports I’m as superstitious as a European medieval scholar. I kept on telling myself I would make a podcast for this week’s Bears-Packers game. I would make picks. I would break it all down.
But I couldn’t. I can’t. I won’t.
I’m too afraid of the outcome.
There have been a handful of times in my life where I have made a prediction about “my” team – the Green Bay Packers – that I actually meant. Don’t get me wrong, there have been plenty of times when I have said, off-hand, “Packers by seven.”
But I didn’t mean it. Are you kidding? Think of the hexes, the jinxes and the, umm, bad mojo!
Oh, the horror!
But this time feels different. I feel like I need to take a stand. I need to stake my claim.
