Third day in, second on the air

I’m not going to say I’m good. That’s a lie. I’m lucky.

And it’s better to be lucky than smart. Or good.

In fact, luck, as it turns out, is the best “thing” to have on your side. Luck helps in any situation. A master carpenter probably can’t diffuse a bomb without some luck. An NHL goalie is going to have some trouble flying a jumbo jet without some luck also.

Point being: It would probably be difficult for Nick Lilja to get airtime on WNFL if it weren’t for a bit of luck.

Truth be told: I eat opportunity for breakfast and sweat luck all day long.
Okay, that’s a lie. A complete fabrication. I eat Rice Krispies for breakfast and never sweat because the air is so dry (and cold) in Wisconsin the moisture doesn’t have time to do anything but evaporate once it reaches the air.

Anyway, here are some snippets from my time spent on the air in the first hour of The Maino and Nick Show on 1440 WNFL.
