Randy Moss rips Jeff Fisher on radio?

Now this is interesting…

Is this Titans WR Randy Moss calling into a sports talk radio show on 104.5 The Zone in Nashville to rip his head coach Jeff Fisher?

Would Randy Moss really call a radio show to rip his head coach?

It seems ridiculous but could it actually be Moss?  The caller goes by the name “Woody” but sounds exactly like the embattled wide receiver.

The call came into the station a little after 2pm Central time.  A Titans team official released a statement saying, “There is no way that is Randy Moss.  No way.”

However could it be possible?

“Woody” ripped into Fisher questioning if he would still be the coach of the Tennessee Volunteers with his current record, criticized him for firing offensive coordinator (and former coach of Vince Young) Norm Chow over the phone, and stated point blank that he doesn’t like Fisher.  “Woody” concludes the call by saying that he hopes Sunday is Fisher’s last home game as coach of the Titans.

Moss is currently on his third team of the 2010 season and has been a non-factor for Fisher and the Titans.  In 5 games with Tennessee, the 13-year veteran has just 5 catches for 62 yards and zero touchdowns.  Moss did not receive a single target in the teams Week 14 loss against the Indianapolis Colts.

It seems ridiculous to think Moss would come up with a fake name and call a local sports talk radio show to bash his head coach, but crazier things have happened throughout his eccentric career.

It will be interesting to see if this story gets picked up nationally in the upcoming days as we head into Week 15 of the NFL season.

Is this really Randy Moss ripping Jeff Fisher on local radio?
