Ridiculous isn’t the right word. Misguided is more appropriate but still lacks the magnitude. Even if rules and regulations are in place for a reason, this is a bit absurd.
When John Nicholson reads about this, he’ll probably say the magic words: All the rules apply all of the time. Except when they don’t.
And in Washington State this past weekend, they didn’t.
