Let me upgraaade ‘yuh…

Okay, forget Beyonce for a moment. April showers bring the opportunity to stay indoors. Long hours slaving over a room-temperature keyboard staring at a .css stylesheet (while failing to come up with anything original) eventually led to a faster, quicker and easier to use website. Yes, The [Five] has been “cleaned up” over the past few days and we are still putting the finishing touches on a few portions of the site but for the most part – here it is!

A deep thank you to both Justin Tadlock and Patrick Daly.

There have been some visual changes but most tweaks were centered around cleaning up the format and a lot of erroneous php code. The site still takes too long to load (in our opinion) but we hope it’s a bit faster and easier to track down content.

Keep checking the site. In the next few months the changes will continue. The [Five] is going to continue to evolve into a digital media outlet. I’m headed out to Syracuse University to study broadcast journalism and thus an influx of great new digital content will arrive. Jake Paque, a phenomenal actor in New York City, will be adding his own flair to the site via written commentary on sports and music while also dropping a few podcasts. And, with a little coaxing, The Weakest Chink will return and give everyone something to Tweet about. Add to the mix a menagerie of new faces that have yet to join the ranks at The [Five] and we’re going to have a party in 2010.

Who knows, perhaps even Colt Murray will return!
