The back up continues – but we’re half way there!
Here’s the skinny: The website database needs to be backed up in case The [Five] is hacked (by Linux lovers) again. The last time the site (D’oh!) wasn’t sufficiently backed up and parts of August and June were lost and they got all of July (hence the measly 12 posts in July). This time (only), we are taking (un)necessary precautions to ensure this doesn’t happen ever again (anytime soon).
Also, I am in the middle of a big (cluster-bleep) move up to Portland, Ore. Once I get settled in (find a real job) I’ll be back to update The [Five] daily.
As for (my college buddies) the other writers: Casey, Chris, Colt, Kacy, and Kye – they (all start with a k-sound, kind of creepy) are also on vacation (kind of quit for the summer) and will (hopefully) return soon.
