Where are they? (4/23) Beaver Pro Baseball Update

Big Numbers: Yesterday Jacoby Ellsbury hit two homers for the Boston Red Sox. Over the past week in a series against the Visalia Oaks, former OSU outfielder Tyler Graham, stole four bags on night and came back nabbing two the following game.

As a "team"…: The Beaver pitchers have thrown 81.33 innings, have a 6-5 record and nine saves. 67 strikeouts match up with 42 walks and 82 hits. The staff has a 3.43 ERA along with a .252 average against.

The Beaver fielders have 21 doubles, four triples and 13 homers. As a whole they have struck out 101 times but plated 88 runs and 83 RBI. The squad is hitting .252, a .370 slugging percentage and a .327 on base percentage. Beaver speedsters are combined 26-31 stealing bases.

Three High A Leagues: Darwin Barney is still having a semi-rough time in Daytona, Mitch Canham is getting run on much more frequently then I am sure the Padres would like (4/22 multiple stolen bases against and a throwing error), Jonah Nickerson is off to a slow start the second year in a row, Gunderson is still doing his thing in Myrtle Beach for a pitching strong Pelicans squad, Tyler Graham is jetting around the base paths as mentioned earlier and Chris Kunda is still trying to find his place with Tampa. Note: Graham bunted for a base hit last night (4/22) and was removed for a pinch runner, not sure if he was injured or they were giving him a rest.
