Spring Training camps have begun with pitchers and catchers arriving this week. A few former Beavers are set to break their first big league camp or just in big league camp once again (Jacoby).
St. Louis Cardinals – Infielder Brian Barden (40-Man Roster)
Houston Astros – Pitcher Mark McLemore (40-Man Roster)
Boston Red Sox – Outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury (40-Man Roster)
New York Mets – Pitcher Eddie Kunz (Non-Roster Invitee)
Edit: Should have clarified this is 2000 draft class to present. So yes, Jamie Burke, catcher, Seattle Mariners is in fact on a 40-man. At this early point in spring training, too early to offer total insight, give me a little bit and I’ll add more.

Thanks for the edit, I’ll give you credit on Barden and McLemore. Most Beaver baseball fans couldn’t name one player before the CWS run. Even Brian Barden. And he was a better player than any on the CWS teams, even Ellsbury.
