It’s almost football season. Just under 60 days until the start of the 2011 college football season. But The schedulers are looking way further down the road.
Wednesday, Chick-fil-A looked into the future and decided who to open the 2013 season with – Alabama and Virginia Tech. It will be the second Chick-fil-A Kickoff game for the Crimson Tide, they beat Clemson 34-10 in 2008. And it will be the second time that Alabama and Virginia Tech have met in Atlanta. Alabama beat Virginia Tech 34-24 during their last meeting in the Georgia Dome in 2009 season opener.
Boise State and Georgia will match up in this season’s opener at the Georgia Dome on Sept. 3.
