NBC retains Olympic rights through 2020

NBC and Comcast have won the bid for the Olympic games.

The NBC family will retain the rights to Olympic coverage in the United States through the 2020 games.

The deal includes the 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020 games and is worth nearly $4.4 billion. NBC defeated ESPN and Fox to keep the Olympics.

NBC has broadcast every Summer Olympics since 1988 and every Winter Games since 2002.
