Juwan Staten transferring to West Virginia

The Mountaineers are accruing transfers. Monday, former Dayton guard Juwan Staten is transferring to West Virginia.

Mountaineers Head Coach, Bob Huggins, announced that Staten has signed a grant-in-aid to attend West Virginia.

Staten started 34 games as a freshman for the Flyers last season. He averaged 8.5 points and 5.4 assists. He will have to sit out the 2011-12 season due to NCAA transfer rules and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

West Virginia has laso inked former LaSalle center Aaric Murray who led LaSalle in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots.
