The Missouri Tigers (1-1) have removed Tristen Holt from the team.
The Tigers aren’t starting 2011 as they’d hoped. After beating Miami (OH), 17-6, the first week, but ended up announcing the removal of Tavon Bolden from the team due to a violation of team rules.
This past weekend, the team lost a disappointing match-up against the Pac-12’s Arizona State, 37-30, and today had to make a similar announcement. A second Missouri defensive back, this time Holt, has been kicked off the team.
Now, Holt did not play in Missouri’s first two games. But it is thinning-out the defensive backfield for the Tigers.
Holt was arrested Saturday on charges of leaving an accident scene, according to The Associated Press, when the other driver asked for his insurance information.
