Well, everything is peachy keen in Foxboro for two brothers. See, the New England Patriots have signed former Denver tight end Dan Gronkowski.
You might say, wait, there is already a Gronkowski on the Patriots! You would be right. Dan is the brother of current Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
It’s double the Gronkowskis! In a two tight end set, the offensive line can now be bookended with Gronkowskis!
If this were only the 50s again. I could just imagine the papers.
The Great Gronkowskis! Gambling guts gives Gronkowskis glory! Good God! Gotta’ get Gronkowski goods goin’! Gronkowskis gaits got goofy gallop!
New England has released defensive lineman Gerard Warren and cornerback Darius Butler, too. Though, that doesn’t seem to matter to me right now.
Recall, the Patriots picked Rob Gronkowski in the second round of the 2010 draft. His brother, Dan, was a seventh-round pick of the Detroit Lions in 2009.
Dan then played in 12 games for the Broncos last year.
A third brother, Chris, is a running back who was waived by Dallas this summer and claimed by Indianapolis.
No word yet if the Patriots are making a move to claim Chris. Though, if it happens, The [Five] Daily will be the first to report it. Guaranteed.
