One of the greatest NFL quarterbacks in league history is returning to football next weekend. Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre will make his first appearance in the booth on Oct. 1 when Southern Miss plays Rice.
The three-time NFL MVP isn’t committing to a career in broadcasting, but, he said in a statement, wants to “check out the view from the press box.”
Favre played at Southern Miss from 1987 to 1990.
For the first time in a long time, the offseason Brett Favre talk hasn’t been swirling too aggressively. The last few season, fans recall, only hearing speculation about Brett Favre’s return. This offseason and beginning of the regular season ESPN’s Rachel Nichols hasn’t been in Hattiesburg and Fwhen Favre works with the local high school it has went mostly unnoticed.
