University of Oregon linebacker sentenced, still suspended from team

Oregon linebacker Kiko Alonso pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of trespassing and criminal mischief. He was sentenced Friday morning in Lane County Circuit Court to two years of probation, 200 hours of community service and alcohol treatment.

He was arrested last Sunday after he broke into a stranger’s home where police found him sleeping in a bed.

Oregon coach Chip Kelly suspended Alonso indefinitely after his arrest.
