The Durham Bulls are “going green” a bit differently than usual. The Bulls are catering to vegetarians.
The Durham Bulls aren’t alone. The Carolina Mudcats are joining the Bulls. At both the Bull’s home, Athletic Park, and the Mudcats’ home, Five County Stadium they are offering fans more options than just hot dogs.
And PETA is pumped.
On the menu: Tofu burritos and black-bean burgers are served at the Bulls’ park and fresh fruit and vegi-dogs are available at Five County Stadium.
